Who We Are
Mary Graber - CEO
Mary has been CEO for the credit union since 2007. She was born and raised in Southeast Iowa, graduated from Mt. Pleasant Community High School. Mary has two children, 3 grandchildren and 3 grand-dogs!
She is on the Board of Directors for Mt. Pleasant Chamber Alliance, currently serving as Treasurer. Mary is often involved in volunteering for the Chamber, participates in the local Sip and Shop and many other charitable events.
Crystal Longhurst - Branch Supervisor
Crystal joined 5 Star in 2000. A native to the Southeast Iowa area, she stays busy with events for her two children, and enjoys attending events on the square in Mt. Pleasant.
Jan Alter - Loan Officer
Jan has been with 5 Star since 2015, and has worked in the industry for many years. She lives in Burlington with her family. Jan’s favorite community activity is watching the Races at 34 Raceway.
Cindy Dilks - MSR
Cindy has been a member services representative with 5 Star since 2013. She is from the Salem / Mt. Pleasant area. Cindy is married with two children and 4 grand children.
Amber Scarborough - MSR
Amber, originally from Arkansas, moved to Iowa in 2010 with her husband. She joined us in October of 2020 bringing 13 years of experience. She loves to help the community by donating time to local charities, her favorite being Des Moines County Humane Society.
Sherry Higdon - Branch Supervisor
Sherry has been with 5 Star since 2011.
She is native to the area. One of her favorite things to do within the community is to attend church and spend time with family and friends. Sherry loves to give back to the community!
Sami Andermann - Loan Officer
Sami has worked for 5 Star off and on while attending school. Sami is an active member in the Salem Community. She enjoys attending community events like town festivals and car show in the Mt. Pleasant and Salem areas.
Jennifer Morrison - MSR
Jennifer joined us in 2017. She and her family are members of the Burlington community. Jennifer loves to spend her money within the community and spend time with her family, especially her 3 granddaughters.
